At the end of 2020 we thought it apt to review how far the clinic has come on our cosmetic surgery journey, starting at Spire Cheshire hospital 7 years’ ago and expanding to Manchester when the brand new, state of the art Spire Manchester hospital was finally completed. As you know we also operate regularly in Cheshire at The Wilmslow Hospital (formerly 52 Alderley Road), in Cheshire.

Breast Reduction
I had a breast reduction by Mr Lambe. I am 23 years old and have wanted this done for a few years now. I have never been to hospital before, despite this I felt completely confident in Mr Lambe – he explained everything thoroughly in my initial consultations and gave me realistic expectations.
The day of the surgery went great – Mr Lambe was there first thing to explain to me again what would happen and then again a few hours after I woke up to check on me to see I was safe to go home, I was completely comfortable the whole time.
I would recommend Mr Lambe to anyone thinking about having this procedure – it goes without saying that he is an excellent surgeon but he is also friendly, reassuring and looks after his patients.
I would also like to add that the Clinic Manager Jayne was so kind and helpful throughout – she was always on hand to call whenever I had any worries or just needed a bit of advice.

I saw Mr Lambe giving a talk at Spire Hospital and he impressed me so much with his general demeanour and sincerity that I immediately thought if I’m going to have surgery I want him to do it.
I then saw him on 3 occasions before deciding to go ahead. He was not a bit pushy, he answered all my questions and was patient when I had a bit of a ‘meltdown’.
I also spoke to his secretary, Jayne, on a number of occasions, she is so understanding and easy to talk to.
I was very apprehensive on the day of surgery, Mr Lambe came to see me beforehand as did the anaesthetist, what a lovely man also.
When I saw myself after I looked down and said ‘WOW’! That looks so good ! I am 4 weeks post op and back at the gym, all is good.
I would highly recommend Mr Lambe and his team to anyone thinking of surgery. From initial consultation, surgery and after care he has been so professional and reassuring and has this calmness about him that makes you feel comfortable and confident in him. Thank you Mr Lambe,
I think I now look pretty amazing, even if I do say so myself! There is a saying ‘You can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear’ Well….Mr Lambe can!!

I’m 60+ years old. I did a lot of research before requesting an appointment. I had size 42L breasts which caused poor posture, dents in my newly replaced shoulders and a lot of discomfort.
Mr Lambe was so calm and easy to talk to. He quickly put me at ease. He was very honest with me regarding possible issues but I felt so confident in him that I agreed to surgery.
I saw him again to discuss any further questions where again his calm and professional approach instilled confidence. At no time did I feel under pressure to have surgery.
I saw him again on the day of my op. He came to see me when I was back in my room to assure me all had gone well.
I’ve been for two appointments since. First to have dressings removed and then a check up. I go again in a month’s time.
I cannot begin to express how pleased I am! I feel so much better. I can stand straight, my whole posture is improved. I’ve lost over 4 kg.
Throughout Mr Lambe has been fantastic. The staff at Spire Cheshire have been wonderful. Mr Lambe’s secretary, Jayne has been in touch a couple to times to check all is well.
I can recommend seeing Mr Lambe. A truly able and talented surgeon.
