Well what a week it has been!

Not only has Mr Lambe been nominated by his lovely breast augmentation and eyelift patients for The Cosmetic/Plastic Surgeon of the Year Award 2021 by The Safety in Beauty organisation, he was also awarded the accolade of Highly Commended on the night!

Diamond Safety In Beauty Awards

After hearing we had been nominated for The Best Plastic/|Cosmetic Surgeon Award, we caught the train from Manchester, Piccadilly via Euston, London to the special event held at the 5 ***** Royal Lancaster Hotel in West London in time for the diamond awards ceremony on Saturday, 5th December 2021.

The Diamond Safety in Beauty Awards aim to celebrate the individuals and companies who put their patients’ safety first and foremost in an industry where patient safety is imperative. The awards were launched seven years ago by Thought Leader Antonia Mariconda, seeking to celebrate and promote the fantastic stories and transformations that occur in the aesthetics industry.

They are the only awards in the UK Aesthetic Industry to recognize the hard-working dedication of professionals who ensure their patients undergo a safe, transparent, and well informed experience and are a nationally recognised benchmark award “for professionals who take a serious approach to high standards and good practice, attracting entries from brave and inspiring professionals who stand head and shoulders above in their outstanding work and professional ethos” It has since become a prestigious and highly acclaimed annual event.  Deemed “the most rewardingly hard to win in the business” and it is an instantly recognisable accolade that demonstrates to both the general public and within the industry, that excellent work has been measured and rewarded.

We were delighted to have been nominated for the awards by some lovely patients but caught up in the camaraderie of the evening the award for Best Plastic/Cosmetic Surgeon appeared very quickly

We had a lovely salmon starter and nearing the end of the main course the awards were announced.

You can imagine we were even more thrilled to get the news live that Mr Lambe had been voted Highly Commended for the Best Plastic Surgeon award.

We also bumped into Seema Malhotra from The Real Housewives of Cheshire, who presented an award on the evening. The dress designer came over to congratulate Gerard on his own award and was very charming. She was also delighted to see that I was wearing one of her own designer dresses available from her Forever Unique online shop. Suffice to say she has great taste and we even wore similar shoes!

As always she looked fabulous in her own creation which was a double breasted, sparkly number with ostrich feather trim on the shoulders which definitely helped her make an entrance!

Table Guests for Top Surgeon awards

We were lucky enough to have a table of talented guests including Tracey Dennison of @EastRidingAesthetics Clinic in Yorkshire (sorry no photo!) who was up for Aesthetic Nurse of the Year Award and Dr Greg of @drgregwilliamsuk on instagram who helps those suffering from hair loss at the Farjo Hair Institute, who was up for Best Surgical Facility for Aesthetic/Cosmetic Procedures and his fun partner Jennifer Fitt, who organises events for the Dan’s Fund Burns charity.  We also had the pleasure of meeting Liz and Trish and finally Veronica Kumeta of @ladiesfightingbreastcancer who also won an award for Inspirational Person of the Year for her work raising funds for her women’s breast cancer charity.

Safety First in Cosmetic Surgery!

Over the years, Mr Lambe has championed the cessation of BBL surgery (the most dangerous of all cosmetic surgeries with a 1:3000 chance of death) in the press and on national TV.

Mr Lambe is often contacted by the press to comment on the high risks of some cosmetic surgery procedures such as BBL’s and has had high profile coverage stories such as the Leah Cambridge case, where a mother of 2 children went to Turkey to have BBL surgery (Brazilian Butt Lift) and sadly after having 3 cardiac arrests, died on the operating table.

Mr Lambe is also a Spokesperson for BAAPS (The British Association of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgeons) which is against cosmetic surgery tourism.

Out with the old breast implants, in with the new….

From initial contact with Mr Lambe’s secretary Jayne to my post op (9 weeks) check up with Mr Lambe today the service and care I have received has been wonderful! I could chat with Jayne for hours. I must’ve driven her mad on occasions but she’s always so generous with her time. Genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve ever dealt with!

Now on to the boob magician – Mr Lambe is quite simply THE BEST at what he does. A true gentleman with knowledgeable and most importantly realistic advice who instantly puts you at ease. I’m absolutely over the moon with my results as is my husband.

I feel much more confident and in proportion to my frame now going from a small C to a full E cup. It wasn’t a totally straightforward out/in job for Mr Lambe as I also needed a pocket reduction on one side. He did say it wouldn’t be a perfect repair but would look much better but honestly the results are just marvellous, no longer do I have an implant trying to disappear under my armpit nor any pain when turning over in bed!
