Breast Enlargement Aftercare Information

You should expect a considerable amount of soreness and swelling in the days and weeks following your surgery.

This is normal and will naturally reduce over time. You should also be prepared for some of the following during recovery:

  • Bruising
  • Swelling of area and surrounding areas
  • Pain or discomfort
  • Asymmetry

These symptoms are all completely normal and can be managed with pain medications, creams and proper cleansing.

Breast Reduction Aftercare Information

Use the following methods to help you aftercare recovery:

  1. Use supportive pillows – This will help keep you in the right position to aid healing,
  2. Keep mobile – You can move and ”potter” around the house, but please refrain from housework and stretching too much.
  3. Keep hydrated – You should drink plenty of water (minimum 1 litre per day) to aid the healing process.
  4. Eat little and often – to speed up your recovery time.
  5. Be patient and be kind to yourself! It’s a great time to relax, read a good book, watch TV or your favourite box sets, listen to your favourite music or podcasts and respect the healing process.
