1 Fantastic Schools
Many Trafford schools have been described as outstanding and for families moving to the area, this is a primary factor in choosing where they would like to live whether they have younger children or plan to have children in the future.
The Trafford area still uses the Grammar School Entrance Exam System, otherwise known as he 11+ for children are between 11 and 16 and 16-18.
Altrincham Grammar School for Girls (AGGS) and Altrincham Grammar School for Boys (AGSB) are two of the most respected state schools in the country and if you live in postcodes such as WA14/15 or M33 areas you are in catchment. The full list of postal codes will be available on the Trafford Council Website.
There are many other Grammars and state schools to choose from which have high standards of education.
There is also a large number of extremely well respected schools such as Withington Girls and Manchester High School for Girls.
2 Family Life
Parents and children can enjoy many fun filled days and we are actually spoilt for choice most days. If your children are active then there is the Chill Factore for skiing, The Play Factore for soft play, Climbing, Legoland, Sealife and Trampoline Centres.
There’s also a host of parks and green areas such as the much loved Tatton Park, Dunham Massey and membership of The National Trust’s family scheme means that you can visit a multitude of fabulous grounds and coffee shops.
3 Glamorous People
Here is Mr Lambe, featured in a Photograph frame with friends Joanna Scott-Aspray and Roxanna Hashemi which also appeared online and in the Cheshire newspaper The Wilmslow Guardian.
Cheshire has a thriving community which is reflected in its multitude of top class, high end glossy magazines such as The Cheshire Magazine (shown above) in which we have appeared regularly over the years. The ad above is from our first campaign, placing us where we want to be, THE Best Plastic Surgeon, amongst the glamorous and beautiful people of Cheshire!
We have also been fortunate enough to feature in The Cheshire Life magazine which is firmly embedded in the culture of our community here in Cheshire. We attend many charity events around the area including Alderley Edge, Chester, Hale, Hale Barns, Frodsham, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Mobberley, Nantwich, Sale, Tarporley, Warrington and Wilmslow to name but a few.
4 Houses
Cheshire has been quoted in the National News to have the second most millionaires per square mile in the UK second only to London.
This is reflected in the quality and standard of the palatial homes in and around the area with their own land, stables, swimming pools and tennis courts.
House prices continue to rise in this area despite London reporting that house prices have dipped for the first time in 10 years according to the news in October 2017.
5 Lifestyle
If you like mixing with the rich and famous like Dawn Ward (from The Real Housewives of Cheshire) and family including Darby, Taylor and Ashley Ward who are set to be “the new Kardashians” then you couldn’t have picked a better place!
The couple host an annual charity event called The Creme de La Creme Ball where all proceeds go to The Caudwell Children’s Charity so you can relax knowing that you are enjoying yourself for a very good cause which really helps to enrich your life.
6 Media Hub
Both ITV and BBC have moved their offices to Media City from London taking advantage of the lower prices of land and an increase in quality of life.
These hubs have attracted a host of celebrities and created exciting roles for Trafford and Manchester residents.
Staff from these main media hubs live in and around Cheshire so you never know who you will bump into, be it Sian Lloyd who reads the weather or Freddie Flintoff shopping in Sainsburys!
7 Night Life
There’s always a fun event to attend, from a fun launch such as the one above in Gusto, Alderley Edge in Cheshire,
8 Opportunities
There are huge growth plans for Cheshire and the surrounding areas from the revamped Altrincham Town Centre in the suburbs to Manchester city centre, home to fabulous apartments for the huge numbers of young executives who start their career here.
The number of cranes on the skyline proves just how much development work is going on right now and future plans for the high speed train from London to Manchester (known as the HS2) which will get you from London to Manchester within the hour will soon be here. Planned for 2020 which will bring a wealth of opportunities such as Tourism and shared opportunities with businesses from down South.
9 Shopping
Need we say more, most parts of Cheshire are within 30 minutes of the world renowned Intu Trafford Centre which was built and developed in 1998. It sits on the M56 motorway and is therefore accessible from most parts of the North West.
It holds all the major chain stores including Selfridges which regularly hold beauty events including Chanel and stock fabulous clothes, shoes and bags as well as a food court for day time snacks and restaurants such as Giraffe for lunch or early dinners.
10 Location
M60 motorway (the ring road) servicing in and around Manchester and Cheshire ensures that you are never far away from work or your next exciting adventure.
The area holds the world famous Christie Hospital for cancer treatment, the world famous Manchester United and Manchester City Football stadiums so footballers and their partners are never far away!
You can be in Manchester City Centre in 10 minutes either via the excellent tram system or by car or you can be ensconced in the country side, however you feel on the day!
As long as you are near restaurants and there are a HUGE selection of trendy cafes especially in Hale then all your possible needs are catered for.
