New Surgeon in Reflect Clinic Apostolos

A very warm welcome to our newest team member, Mr Apostolos Vlachogiorgos!

Apostolos hails from Greece and is a Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic surgeon with many years of training in both Greece and the UK. Some people may find it difficult to pronounce his name, but if you think of an Apostle and add “olos” then you have the pronunciation correct!

Personally, he is dedicated, charming and honest and has worked with Mr Lambe in the NHS for a few years before they decided they would work well together in our team.

Mr Apostolos Vlachogiorgos, MD MRCS MSc, graduated from the Medical University of Athens in 2006. Following completion of his core training in General Surgery, he started his training in the specialty of Plastic Surgery.

Apostolos has been living and working in the UK since 2012 and has worked for many years at The Christie, in Manchester, which is of course, internationally recognized as one of the best oncology hospitals in the world. During this period, he worked closely and was trained by Mr Lambe to perform complex reconstructive cases, treating skin cancers but also assisting in all aesthetic procedures. In 2020 he entered the Specialist Register of GMC as a fully trained Plastic Surgeon

Apostolos has developed a great passion for the reconstructive aspect of plastic surgery. In 2018 he successfully completed his Masters in Reconstructive Microsurgery with Distinction. Since 2019, Apostolos is an Honorary Lecturer at the Queen Mary University of London, teaching microsurgery.  He also regularly participates in national and international plastic surgery meetings to ensure he has the latest information and uses the most up-to-date techniques as well as contributing to plastic surgery articles.

He also shares a great interest in surgical and non-invasive aesthetic techniques. He has been performing botulinum toxin and filler injections amongst other cosmetic treatments with lasers since 2008 in his own separate company.

Apostolos truly believes that everyone is unique and requires an individual, tailor-made approach. He is known amongst his patients for his holistic and detailed consultations, his perfectionism and his precision, with great respect to human anatomy and physiology, Apostolos is a fan of natural, long-lasting results and fully supports the “ageing gracefully” philosophy which is the same ethos her at Reflect Clinic where we pride ourselves in delivering results where you look like your

In his spare time, Apostolos spends quality time with his family and friends. He loves CrossFit, swimming and weightlifting and he is a big fan of the Keto diet!

If you would like to research further his General Medical Council (GMC) number: 7258084

Here’s to working with Apostolos for many years to come!
