Darby’s Grand Reveal on The Real Housewives of Cheshire

The Consultation with Darby Ward for Breast Surgery

Viewers of The Real Housewives of Cheshire have been waiting with bated breath since the airing of Dawn Ward taking her daughters, Darby Ward and Taylor Ward to come and see us for a breast surgery consultation at the new state of the art Spire Manchester Hospital based in Didsbury, South Manchester.
Episode 3 of Series 6, shown on Monday 26th September 2017, showed Mr Gerard Lambe on ITVBe discussing the girls’ possible breast surgery and answering the girls’ questions, showing them breast implants so they could see (and feel) for themselves what would be involved in a breast augmentation (or breast enlargement) operation.

He also showcased the Crisalix 3D Virtual Reality Visors, famously referred to now as #BoobGoggles on Instagram and Twitter, which is a brand new innovation, allowing breast surgery patients to be scanned and by using the latest software, to press a few buttons and tweak their own image to see themselves with larger or smaller breasts, dressed in a range of clothing from bikinis to evening dresses to see for themselves how they could look after choosing a range of implant shapes and sizes, at many different angles.

The Wards all tried on the goggles and both Darby and Taylor were wowwed to see the images showing themselves with bigger breasts. Hence the hashtag #boobgoggles across Social Media!  These images were then saved and emailed to them (as patients) so that they could discuss the surgery and pictures with friends and the rest of the family, in order to make the right decision for themselves. The software also allows patients to gain a realistic and reliable result as each individual patient has their own idea of how they would want to look with their dream breasts.

Next Instalment of The Real Housewives of Cheshire

Since Episode 3  we have been chomping at the bit, along with their huge audience of Tweeters, Instagrammers, Facebookers and TV viewers, to see whether the Ward sisters had gone ahead with their breast surgery.
Thankfully, this Monday, 30th October 2017, finally revealed that Taylor was giving herself more time to think about it and that Darby has decided to go ahead with her breast augmentation surgery.

Grand Reveal

Darby was then shown on The Real Housewives of Cheshire entering the grand marquee which had been erected in the family grounds at Warford Hall, Alderley Edge for their Annual Charity Event, named The Creme Ball, so called as invitees are the Creme de la Creme of Cheshire.  Darren Proctor hosted the event and a number of TV stars including Kym Marsh from Coronation Street and Sandy from Goggle Box (and winner of Big Brother) were in attendance along with more stars from The Real Housewives of Cheshire, Lauren, Nick and Royston. The event is held for Cauldwell Children’s charity, a charity close to the Ward’s hearts as their youngest daughter developed meningitis and thankfully for her, made a full recovery. However, some children are not so lucky and multi-millionnaire John Caudwell and also Claire Caudwell support these children and their families by donating and fundraising throughout the year.

The affair is always amazing and 2017 was no different with a Garden of Eden Theme, men and women were draped in leaves and painted gold and a huge pythom was displayed lounging on a model at the Champagne bar. Beautiful and glamorous ladies and gentlemen of Cheshire and beyond were in attendance drinking champagne and enjoying a four course sit down meal before a host of acts performed and really got the crowds going.
To this backdrop, Darby revealed the amazing results of her boob job wearing a slinky, glittering (and revealing) full length black and silver evening dress for the ultimate glamorous occasion.

Decision Time

The decision to go ahead and have surgery has caused much debate on and off screen. Dawn Ward was even invited on to Loose Women to talk about the events leading up to the decision to go ahead which had seen her having to defend her decision to support her daughters whatever their decision may be. She was subjected to intense questioning by the ladies which sparked Twitter followers to comment their support for the Wards.

Darby said she decided to go ahead after losing weight which left her with small boobs and she wanted to feel more womanly again. Darby’s results speak for themselves as she posted some stunning pictures with a new found confidence on social media.
Darby, 21, said:

“Do it for you…Only you! ???? thank you so so much to everyone at @reflectclinic_ltd for looking after me so well, especially Mr Gerard Lambe!I’ve been sat back and not really said much in regards to the media attention and comments… I was shocked at the level this went to and understand that people have their opinion…but this is my body and my decision! There’s been certain people that have made a real effort to voice their opinion on this, despite not really having the grounds to speak or an educated response. I’m a big believer that people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones…everyone deserves to feel confident in themselves ❤️ #girlpower #loveyourself.

And her Mum Dawn responded by saying on Twitter: “I want to say a massive thank you the amazing Mr Lambe – couldn’t have put @Darby_Ward in better hands @ReflectClinicCo she’s so happy,”

Results of Breast Enlargement Surgery

After unveiling the results of her controversial boob op. The Real Housewives of Cheshire star opted for natural, teardrop shape implants when having her surgery at Spire Manchester Hospital and made the perfect choice said Mr Lambe, responding

I’m delighted for Darby – she has had an extremely successful result. A very natural breast enhancement that is in proportion to her petite frame. We used the latest natural, teardrop shaped implants by Mentor which look incredibly flattering. As the Surgeon approached by Dawn Ward and Darby for the breast augmentation, I must applaud the Ward family for taking every effort possible to weigh up the advantages and risks of undergoing surgery.

He added:

Darby is over 18 which is the legal requirement for plastic surgery in the UK. However, age is only one factor and a responsible surgeon will also take into account a patient’s emotional maturity, body shape, if their breasts are likely to grow further, as well as a full spectrum check of general health risks. Darby is exceptionally confident, healthy and mentally strong – a perfect candidate for surgery.”

Darby delighted with her new breasts getting ready for a Halloween party.

When listening to many of our patients, we hear a lot, and totally understand, the fact that the surgery would enable the patient to increase both their self confidence and body confidence and this cannot be underestimated in life.

Darby agreed with this sentiment when she said that being happy with her body would help her perform better on stage during her singing career.
