Katie Price & Cosmetic Surgery

Katie Price is in the Press Again

Katie Price is in the press a lot recently about the number of cosmetic surgeries she has opted for, including 17 breast surgeries (breast enlargements with breast implants and breast reductions), 6 facelifts, a “fox eyes” procedure and most recently, a trip to a cosmetic surgery company abroad in Turkey to have her ears pinned back which was a side effect of her latest facial surgery.

Her stint in the Jungle where she met up with Aussie sweetheart Peter Andre, cemented her into the consciousness of the UK public.

She has recently been in the press for her theatre appearance for charity with her friend Kerry Katona and was popped in the Crown Inn Pub in Lower Peover, Cheshire. Apparently they are in talks to do a series together as they have natural chemistry.

Breast Enlargements

Katie (aka Jordan) the model, singer, author and entrepreneur, was naturally beautiful when she first came on the scene and the British media soon became obsessed with her once she had her first breast augmentation surgery.

She has had many breast surgery procedures including breast enlargements with breast implants and according to The Mirror newspaper, she had had as many as 17.

Fans have raised concerns that Katie’s latest drinking and performing could impact her recovery from her latest triple surgery. An expert agreed, too. Gerard Lambe, a member of the Royal College of Surgeons and director of Reflect Clinic UK, told the Mirror that footage of Katie on stage in Barnsley was worrying, and that failing to follow proper surgical aftercare can be fatal.

Safe Cosmetic Surgery

Mr Gerard Lambe has been campaigning tirelessly over the last 10 years to improve safety in cometic surgery procedures and stresses that the UK has the safest practices with qualified plastic surgeons having to adhere to strict guidelines during their cosmetic surgery training, with memberships of the General Medical Council where you have to prove you have up to date surgical skills and experience and are ultimately safe to perform cosmetic surgery procedures in the UK. Practising cosmetic surgery in the UK,  her in Wilmslow in Cheshire and around Manchester has been a pleasure and a vocation.

As you know we have won many awards for Transformational Cosmetic Surgery procedures by the Safety in Beauty council, headed by Antonia Maraconda in London.

Cosmetic Surgeons also have to prove CPD (continuous professional development) to ensure their surgery skills are up to date and proven techniques are used as well as new innvovations to improve safety are gained along the way.

Here at Reflect Clinic,we have been following the career of Katie Price and are surprised that she continues to have so many cosmetic surgery procedures.

For this particular article, Mr Lambe commented

“Katie runs the risk of exhausting her body’s potential to recover and experiencing wound breakdown and infection, but most worrying is the risk of a bleed, especially after facelift surgery which involves a very delicate process,” he said.
