Real Housewives of Cheshire
We were invited to attend the opening of a new clinic in Hale, Cheshire, by Seema Malhotra, of Real Housewives of Cheshire fame.
You might remember that back in the day, when we launched 10 years ago, we were a regular on the show with Gerard Lambe even holding a consultation for Dawn Ward and daughter Darby for breast enlargement surgery, with the use of our famous virtual reality breast augmentation software, so you can see yourself in virtual realty with different sized breasts! Darby still looks great today!
We’ve also done some other work for the housewives, but as you know that’s between us and them!
It’s great to keep abreast (ahem!) of beauty trends and developments and as it was a sunny Sunday, we got our Sunday outfits ready. went out to meet some new and old friends, to see what everyone has been up to!
Menopause Support
As part of her partnership with Khatra Paterson of KP Aesthetics, which offers skin treatments to improve wrinkles, tone, texture and laxity of the skin, we were also pleased to know that the clinic offers menopause support.
We met educated and intelligent Dr Shaireen Aleem, who is a Gynaecologist and Aesthetic Vaginal Surgeon, Perimenopause and Menopause Expert and Women’s Health Advocate (it’s good to know!)
A group of menopausal women (myself included) asked a LOT of questions individually and as a group, all about the menopause and our individual experiences and issues.
What a lovely lady, as she really took the time to explain the health benefits of having HRT including oestrogen, progesterone and testosterone and their health benefits which include prevention of Osteoporosis and to maintain heart health.
Did you know that there is a time window of optimum benefits of HRT? We didn’t either til then and it is between 50 and 60 years of age, so if you are suffering and are in that age bracket, then please consult your GP about having HRT for symptoms now and for your future health.
My Mum Your Dad
I rarely forget a face, and whilst there I recognised a lady called Jenny.
She was a star of the “My Mum, Your Dad” TV show, where contestants were set up on dates by their children, aired on iTV and you can still catch it on iTVX!
It was heartwarming to see at the time and even better news is that Jenny (Instagram @jenny_francis01) and her boyfriend, Danny Wright (Instagram @danny_____wright) are STILL dating and news, hot off the press, is that they are thinking of moving in together and Jenny is considering moving to be with Danny! You heard it here first!
Female Entrepreneurs
We met up with a great girl called Hannah who is ultra-glamourous and entrepreneurial as she has a number of projects on the go!
We tried a delicious range of fruit drinks and shots which are all super healthy, by Health Honey, (Instagram @healthhoneyuk) such as an orange shot with ginger, turmeric, black pepper and orange juice! And a deep pink one which had apple, pomegranate, raspberry, lemon and apple cider vinegar called Gut Feelin’
Gut health is really important to stave away a lot of diseases in the future, so it’s important to look after your gut.
Research is being carried out as we write to find out exactly what the micro bacteria in your gut do now and how they prevent future disease and pre-dispositions to other health concerns.
Lori (2nd right) was launching a new mascara product that is dual purpose in that it is also a growth serum, which is a brilliant idea, especially for busy mums and businesswomen! Good luck to her!

Thanks to Khatra and Seema for a fun Sunday and most importantly thank you for keeping us informed about the latest trends in skin health and wellbeing and for the goodie bag from Skin Med (Instagram @AllSkinMedUK).
It was great to meet up and catch up with some entrepreneurial women from Cheshire and most informatively for us, to keep up to date and clarify all the latest in Menopause care and treatments which has gained so much more interest in the press in recent months and it’s about time too! 😉
